Company Profile
Hypertension Awareness and Prevention Initiative (HYPA) Nigeria is a non-governmental organization registered in 2025, dedicated to combating hypertension, a major public health challenge affecting over 30% of Nigerian adults. As a new entity, HYPA Nigeria is poised to contribute to President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by promoting healthy lifestyles and living, reducing the burden of hypertension through awareness, prevention, and community empowerment.
Our initiatives focus on early detection, education, and strengthening primary healthcare systems to address the low awareness (29%), treatment (12%), and control (2.8%) rates reported in Nigeria.

Our Objectives
- To conduct campaigns and awareness in the 36 states of Nigeria including FCT.
- To campaign for healthy lifestyle practices across all demographics.
- To campaign for the control of high and low blood pressure in communities.
- To reduce the risk of death caused by high/low blood pressure.
- To conduct proper checkups and provide medication and BP machines for regular monitoring of blood pressure.
- To partner with all State Governments to reduce the risk of sudden death: Stroke, Cardiac arrest, Heart failure, Blindness, Erectile dysfunction.
- To promote the Renewed Hope Agenda by advocating for healthy living.
